Following its carve out from Zalis in 2023, KTR Partners is proud to join BTG Global Advisory (BTGGA)
strengthening its international presence.
Founded in 2023 by Harry Cohen-Bensimon, KTR Partners is the carve-out of Zalis’ M&A department, following
Zalis’ strategic merger with Endrix in June 2023. KTR advises its clients on M&A transactions, capital raising
(equity and/or debt), private funds strategies, and special situations. KTR’s M&A transactions are mostly crossborder (spanning the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean). In addition, KTR has extensive experience in conducting dual-track processes with both industrial and financial partners.
KTR Partners will serve as a strategic extension of Zalis’ advisory platform—further strengthening BTGGA’s M&A
capabilities and global transaction expertise. Launched in 2015, BTGGA comprises ten members with a global
presence:
Harry Cohen-Bensimon, Founder of KTR partners, said: “Our relationship with BTG Global Advisory began over a
decade ago. I was proud to be one of the founding members of BTGGA in 2015, and today, I’m thrilled to
announce that KTR Partners is collaborating with this prestigious alliance. BTGGA is a respected global network
of independent firms, comprising thousands of professionals specializing in restructuring and insolvency. Its deep
expertise in investment banking, M&A, and special situations will further enhance KTR's ability to deliver
outstanding value to our clients. Recently, leveraging on the BTG alliance, we were capable to organize a
roundtable with UK, US family offices and funds for a complex French situation in less than 4 months from the
KTR engagement to the new money disbursed! With this partnership, KTR is uniquely positioned to advise
corporates and private funds on the preparation and successful execution of cross-border transactions”.
Allan Nackan, Chairman of BTG Global Advisory, said: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Harry since 2015, as
co-founders of BTGGA. From the very beginning, he has played a key role in developing the alliance’s M&A
activities, particularly through his involvement with Zalis. We are delighted to see him take this next step with
KTR Partners and look forward to what lies ahead”.
Daniel Cohen, CEO and founder of Zalis, commented: "We are very proud that KTR is joining the BTG Alliance
independently and that Harry Cohen-Bensimon’s M&A experience is therefore being recognized. This is the
validation of their seriousness, deep expertise and international credibility. We continue and will continue to
work with KTR on M&A activities’’.
