Simon Watson

A trained Chartered Accountant, after qualification Simon worked in audit for PwC including spells in London and San Jose. He completed a full time MBA in 2003 and ran a property development business in Glasgow for several years before moving into banking with spells at Bank of Scotland, Clydesdale Bank and National Australia Bank. 

Simon worked in the distressed property space for six years, leading the forced exit teams in both Scotland and London for the Clydesdale Bank/National Australia Bank as well as consensual run out teams. 

During this time he gained significant exposure to the property sector and in particular, of managing insolvency cases/insolvent borrowers as well as the challenges borrowers face when securing new finance.
