Adrian brings to the role a wealth of experience that makes him exceptionally well placed to lead BTGGA’s continued growth and development. Partner at BTG and a highly regarded insolvency and restructuring practitioner, Adrian has been an active and committed member of BTG Global Advisory network for a number of years, and has been one of its most vocal advocates for deeper, more meaningful collaboration between member firms.
His appointment reflects both his standing within the network and his clear vision for what BTG Global Advisory can become: not simply a referral network, but a genuinely integrated international advisory alliance in which member firms work together on complex, cross-border mandates.
A Clear Vision for the Network
Adrian takes the chair at a moment of real momentum for BTG Global Advisory. The network is expanding, and collaboration between existing members is producing tangible results across M&A, restructuring and advisory.
In taking on the role, Adrian has set out a clear sense of direction for the network:
"BTG Global Advisory has always had exceptional talent across its member firms. What I want to focus on as Chair is making sure that talent is working together more effectively than ever, that when a client in one part of the world has a need in another, we are the first call and the best answer. We have the people. We have the relationships. My job is to make sure we are using them."
His priorities as Chair include accelerating the development of the global forensics group being launched under Sannan Khan's leadership, deepening engagement with the monthly M&A calls that are already generating live cross-border deal flow, driving awareness of the referral fee structure for making introductions for work, and ensuring that every member firm feels genuinely connected to, and commercially benefiting from its membership.
Mark Fry, CEO of BTG, commented:
"Adrian is an outstanding choice for this role. He combines deep technical expertise with a genuine passion for the network and a clear-eyed view of what it can achieve. He has the respect of member firms across the world, and the drive to take BTG Global Advisory to the next level. We are very much looking forward to seeing where he takes it."
