Adrian Rabet

Adrian is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of insolvency and restructuring experience. He leads the BTG office in St Helier in Jersey, where he is one of the few fully-qualified Insolvency Practitioners. He also undertakes appointments in Guernsey and other offshore jurisdictions. 

He specialises in offshore insolvency and forensics, with extensive experience covering liquidations, administrations and various forensic accounting cases as he is a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is also a qualified Estate and Trust Practitioner and acted as a Director of trust companies before specialising in restructuring and insolvency.

Adrian has substantial insolvency and restructuring experience, including being appointed by the Royal Court of Jersey in just and equitable liquidations, many of which are leading cases in that jurisdiction.  

 Notable fund liquidations include, Carlyle Capital Corporation Limited, Preferred Asset Allocator Limited and Belgravia China Fund Limited. Cases involving trust companies include Kingston Management (Guernsey) Limited, Salsac Management Limited, SGI Trust Limited and Atlantic Western Trustees Limited. Building industry cases include Charles Le Quesne (1956) Limited, Deerglen Limited, ACJ Air Conditioning (Jersey) Limited, H & V Building Services Limited and Mercury Construction Limited.

Other highlights include the liquidation of UGDJ Limited, trading as Britannia Music Club, and the liquidation of BetIndex Ltd, the operating company of Football Index, a regulated football stock market trading platform. 
Adrian joined CVR Global (acquired by Begbies Traynor Group in 2021) as Director in August 2019. He was previously Director of insolvency and restructuring for nine years at a Top Ten accountancy practice.
