Wesley joined CVR Global (acquired by Begbies Traynor Group in 2021) in April 2016 as a Director and heads up the firms British Virgin Islands office focussing on entities operating within the off-shore marketplace.

Prior to joining CVR, Wesley spent three and a half years of his career with a boutique firm based in their Bermuda and British Virgin Islands offices. He trained in London with a big four firm and spent six years on international assignment with their Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands firms.

Wesley has amassed over 30 years of experience in managing all types of formal and informal insolvency procedures, including Administrations, Company Voluntary Arrangements, Provisional Liquidations, solvent and insolvent Liquidations, insolvent Partnerships, Receiverships, as well as Bankruptcies.

During his career he has worked closely with the local law enforcement agencies when fraud has been alleged against various stakeholders connected to insolvent entities.

Wesley has developed considerable technical expertise and extensive knowledge of insolvency law in many jurisdictions. His involvement in international and cross border engagements has enabled him to develop skills in forensic investigations, asset tracing, fraud investigation, litigation and identifying money laundering.

Wesley has acted as both Liquidator and Receiver of British Virgin Islands registered companies, as well as being appointed as Liquidator of Bermudian companies.

During his professional career, he has primarily focussed on working with clients operating within the Financial Services sector, working on the wind down of high profile entities including Fairfield Sentry Limited, Bridge Business Recovery, Yamaichi International [Europe] Limited and Mount Credit Corporation Limited.

He has also worked on the restructuring and wind-downs of many other entities operating in a wide variety of industry market segments, such as advertising, automotive, construction, hospitality, insurance, manufacturing, mining, real estate, retail and telecommunications.

In December 2001 Wesley passed the UK's Joint Insolvency Examination Board's examinations and is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and member of RISA in the British Virgin Islands.
